Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead the galley of a busy 70m+ private/charter, dual season yacht. This is a fast-paced, high pressure but rewarding environment, with a sociable, active and positive crew dynamic.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the highest of culinary standards to guests, while maintaining and managing an efficient galley operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver diverse guest menus (fine dining, family style, themed, dietary)
- Oversee nutritious, varied crew meals
- Lead and support a galley team of 3
- Coordinate with HODs on menus and provisioning
- Manage provisioning, budgeting, stock and hygiene standards
- Adapt quickly to guest demands and itineraries
Requirements
- 2+ years as Head/Executive Chef on 60m+ vessels
- Michelin star background preferred
- Charter yacht experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Wide culinary repertoire, including dietary menus
- Excellent organisation, provisioning and budgeting
- Resilient, consistent and sociable team player
