Summary
We are seeking a motivated and professional Deckhand to join an 80m+ private/charter yacht based in the Mediterranean. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least one year of yachting experience to step onto a highly reputable vessel, gain valuable training and contribute to a strong and successful deck operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exterior maintenance including washdowns, polishing, painting, varnishing, teak care and detailing
- Tender driving, launching and recovering operations
- Assisting with water sports setup and guest activities
- Deck equipment and line handling for docking, anchoring and mooring operations
- Ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum1 years' yachting experience on similar sized vessels
- Strong knowledge of exterior maintenance procedures and safe deck practices
- Confident tender driving skills
- Positive, hardworking and team orientated attitude
- Additional skills ((e.g. water sports, carpentry, painting) will be viewed favourably
