Summary
Reiya Group is currently seeking a 2nd Officer to join a 50m+ private/charter, dual season yacht. This is a permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for someone recently qualified with their OOW who is ready to step up. The yacht operates a dual-season schedule, balancing private and charter use with a dynamic, active program.
Requirements:
- OOW 3000gt certificate as a minimum
- Exposure to navigation and bridge management duties
- Strong deck knowledge and leadership skills
- Positive, proactive and professional attitude
Responsibilities:
- Standing navigational watches and supporting the Chief Officer in all bridge operations
- Passage planning, chart corrections and maintaining navigational equipment
- Overseeing deck maintenance schedules, inventories and safety procedures
- Managing and mentoring junior deck crew to ensure high standards across all operations
- Assisting with tender operations and guest activities as required
- Coordinating deck operations during guest trips including anchoring and mooring procedures
- Maintaining a professional attitude, contributing to a positive onboard culture
