Summary
Magnitude Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and exceptionally organised Chef to join the final phase of the build of a 50m+ sailing yacht. This role is suited to a culinary professional with a strong background in both high-end land-based restaurants and superyacht operations, capable of delivering refined, versatile cuisine at the highest standard.
The successful candidate will play a key role during the new-build phase, supporting galley outfitting, equipment specification, and operational setup, before transitioning into full-time onboard service post-delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved from the ground up in the creation of a premium onboard culinary programme.
Permanent position, EUR salary.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef on superyachts of comparable size and standard
- Strong land-based fine dining or high-end restaurant background
- Ability to cater for approximately 10 crew and up to 12 guests, with occasional larger guest groups
- Highly organised, structured, and proactive approach to galley management
- Established global provisioning network with experience sourcing premium suppliers
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and onboard compliance standards
- Fluent English (spoken and written)

New Build & Operational Responsibilities
- Support galley outfitting, layout optimisation, and equipment specification during the build phase
- Assist with provisioning setup, systems, and operational workflows ahead of delivery
- Develop menus and culinary standards aligned with the yacht’s service style and guest profile
- Transition into full operational service post-delivery, maintaining consistently high culinary standards
