Where: Knightsbridge, London + travel
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

A lovely UHNW family based in Central London is looking to hire a highly experienced and exceptionally skilled Private Chef, who specialises in Italian, Spanish, and Japanese cuisines, to join their household team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have 15 - 20 years of proven experience and longevity working in top-tier restaurants, along with versatility, flexibility, and the ability to work seamlessly as part of a household team.
Joining an established household and working collaboratively with the other chefs, the ideal candidate will have a good sense of humour, excellent communication skills, and a warm, friendly nature, with the ability to multitask and adapt easily to any unexpected changes. Preparing lunch and dinner for a family of 4, you should have a solid foundation in most world cuisines – they enjoy a range of different cuisine types including Mediterranean and Pan-Asian, with a strong focus on Asian cuisine required for this specific role. While meals are generally served family-style, there will also be occasions when plated service is required or when catering for larger numbers.
This is a live-out role in Central London at the family’s primary residence, but you will also be required to travel with the family (usually a few weeks at a time) with accommodation provided when not in London. Usually working on a 2-week on, 1-week off basis, the hours can vary depending on the family’s schedule, so the role requires someone not rigid in their schedule and able to offer some flexibility. The family are excellent employers who have a track record of long-term staff retainment, and the role also offers continued learning opportunities through various courses and workshops. A confident driver with a valid driving license is not essential but would be beneficial.
