EXPERIENCED LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR LARGE FAMILY HOME

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a meticulous, reliable, and experienced Housekeeper to join a welcoming, fully staffed residence in Central London. This is a full-time, live-out position and would suit a candidate who takes great pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys maintaining a beautifully presented and well-run home.
The ideal candidate will have solid private household experience, a proactive and organised approach, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for the daily housekeeping duties, alongside another housekeeper, ensuring that every area of the property is kept to the highest standard. The family are looking for someone with a warm and positive manner, who takes initiative and can confidently manage their time throughout the day.
This is a Monday to Friday role, working approximately 45–50 hours per week, with two consecutive days off. Flexibility to work occasional weekends when the family is in residence would be appreciated. Candidates must live within a comfortable commuting distance to Central London.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
· Housekeeping and deep cleaning of all rooms to a consistently high standard
· Regular tidying, organisation, and presentation of living spaces
· Complete laundry care and wardrobe management, including ironing, mending, and coordinating dry cleaning
· Changing bed linen and ensuring all bedrooms and bathrooms remain spotless
· Polishing silver, glassware, and caring for delicate surfaces and finishes
· Monitoring household inventories and replenishing supplies when needed
· Ad hoc duties as required
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· At least 8 years of experience as a Housekeeper within a private household
· Strong housekeeping, laundry, and wardrobe care skills
· Exceptional attention to detail and pride in high standards
· Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage time effectively
· Discreet and professional with a positive, can-do attitude
· Team player who can also work confidently on their own
· Excellent checkable references
· Eligibility to work in the UK
· Residing within a commutable distance to Central London
