LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR A PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN CENTRAL LONDON

A lovely family based in Central London are seeking a professional, experienced, and hands-on Live-in Housekeeper to join their household permanently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, discreet, and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain the property to an exceptional standard.
You will be working as part of a team and will be responsible for the daily cleaning, laundry, wardrobe management, and general upkeep of the home, ensuring that it is always immaculate and well presented. The family values a high level of service and a warm, positive attitude. You should be confident working independently, but also happy to collaborate with other household staff when required.
The role will involve split shifts, working five days per week with two days off, and flexibility to work weekends when the family is in residence is essential. Accommodation is provided in a self-contained one-bedroom flat with an en-suite bathroom, private kitchen, and lounge, offering complete privacy and comfort.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
· Full housekeeping and cleaning of all areas of the home to a high standard
· Daily tidying, organisation, and presentation of rooms
· Laundry and wardrobe management, including ironing, mending, and coordinating dry cleaning
· Changing bed linens and ensuring bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculate
· Polishing silver and caring for fine furnishings and surfaces
· Occasional errand running and ad hoc support to the family
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Previous experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
· Strong cleaning, laundry, and wardrobe management skills
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
· Professional, discreet, and proactive approach
· Flexible and adaptable, with a positive “can-do” attitude
· Confident working independently and as part of a household team
· Trustworthy and reliable, with excellent checkable references
· Eligibility to work in the UK
