Summary
Magnitude Recruitment is seeking a motivated and professional Deckhand to join a 75m+ motor yacht operating within a structured and high-standard programme.
This role is suited to a candidate with a minimum of one year’s onboard experience who is eager to develop their seamanship, maintenance, and operational skills within a large yacht environment. Candidates currently based in the Middle East are strongly preferred.
4/1 rotation, EUR salary
Key Requirements
- Minimum 1 year onboard experience on yachts
- Strong understanding of basic deck operations and maintenance routines
- Confident with mooring, anchoring, and line handling
- Tender driving experience preferred
- Valid STCW certification and ENG1 (or equivalent)
- Powerboat Level 2 (preferred)
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Middle East-based candidates preferred
Deck Responsibilities
- Assist with daily deck maintenance, washdowns, and detailing
- Support mooring, anchoring, and watchkeeping duties
- Operate tenders and assist with guest activities where required
- Maintain deck equipment and storage areas to high standards
- Follow safety procedures and support the senior deck team
