We are seeking an experienced and creative Sole Chef to join a beautiful 40m Private M/Y operating a dual season itinerary (Mediterranean summers and South & West Coast America).
- This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, well-organised chef who enjoys running their own galley and delivering consistently high standards within a private programme.
- As Sole Chef, you will be fully responsible for the galley operation onboard, catering for owners and guests with a focus on fresh, vibrant and well-presented cuisine
- The vessel runs privately, offering a more personalised and refined service style rather than high-turnover charter demands
- Planning and executing varied, seasonal menus tailored to owner preferences
- Efficient provisioning in both the Mediterranean and South & West Coast America
- Maintaining high hygiene and galley organisation standards
- Managing budgets and stock control
- Preparing quality, nutritious crew meals
- Adapting to itinerary changes and guest requests
- Proven experience as Sole Chef on 35m+ yachts (or a strong Second Chef ready to step up)
- Confident across Mediterranean, modern European, healthy and light Caribbean cuisine
- Calm, positive personality with a team-focused attitude
- Excellent organisation and provisioning ability
- A salary of $7k-$8k is on offer
