Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven Chief Officer to join a 40m Private M/Y
- This is an excellent opportunity for a strong second-in-command who is ready to take ownership of the deck department while supporting the Captain in the overall management and safe operation of the vessel
- The programme is private, with a focus on professionalism, efficiency, and high presentation standards
- Mediterranean cruising programme
- The Chief Officer will oversee the day-to-day management of the deck team, safety procedures, bridge operations, and maintenance planning
- You will act as the Captain’s right hand, ensuring smooth operations both on deck and on the bridge
- Bridge watchkeeping and passage planning
- Overseeing deck operations and crew management
- Implementation and monitoring of SMS and safety procedures
- Managing deck inventory and budgets
- You will need to have strong tender driving skills
- Supporting yard periods
- OOW 500 ticket required as a minimum
- Previous experience as Chief Officer or strong 2nd Officer on 40m+ M/Y
- Solid understanding of ISM and regulatory compliance
- A package of €5,500 with 38 days leave is on offer
- Start date: Mid March
