Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bosun to join a 40m Private M/Y
- This is a hands-on role suited to a strong deck leader who takes pride in high standards, runs an organised deck department, and leads by example
- The programme is private, with an involved owner who values professionalism, efficiency, and a well-presented yacht
- Mediterranean cruising programme
- You will be responsible for managing deck operations, overseeing maintenance schedules, supervising deck crew, and ensuring the exterior is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times
- Exterior maintenance planning and execution
- Bridge support and watchkeeping duties
- Supporting yard periods and contractor liaison
- Yachtmaster Offshore (minimum)
- Proven experience as Bosun or Senior Deckhand on 35m+ motor yachts
- Excellent tender driving skills
- Confident with anchoring, mooring, and line handling
- Salary of €4,500 with 38 days leave is on offer
