Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Sole Engineer to join a 35m new build M/Y launching ahead of the upcoming season.
- This is an exciting opportunity to join from the final build stage and see the project through delivery, sea trials, and into her first dual season.

- This will run as a dual-season vessel. Although they are looking at heading off the beaten track, through Norway and the Baltics, after the launch
- This vessel will run as a private vessel for the first 6 months, then will look to charter while over in the Caribbean.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in setting up the engine room, implementing maintenance systems, and establishing strong engineering standards from day one
- Oversee all aspects of the vessel’s engineering department as Sole Engineer
- Assist during final build, commissioning, and sea trials
- Work closely with the shipyard and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
- Set up planned maintenance systems and documentation
- Manage budgets, spares, and inventory
- Minimum Y3 (or equivalent) licence as a minimum
- Previous experience as Sole Engineer on 30m+ yachts preferred
- New build experience highly desirable
- Strong all-round technical knowledge with a proactive approach
- Organised, forward-thinking, and able to work independently
- Salary: €8,000
- Leave: 60 days with position moving into a rotational role by September
- Start date: Immediately
