Summary
We are seeking a confident, experienced Captain/Engineer to take command of a 30m Private M/Y operating exclusively in the Mediterranean.
- This is a busy but enjoyable private programme with an involved owner who values professionalism, discretion, and strong communication.
- The yacht is well-maintained, and we are looking for a Captain who will continue to uphold high operational standards while fostering a positive and motivated crew environment
- These are first time yacht owners who will be living onboard throughout the season
- You will be fully responsible for the safe navigation and overall management of the vessel, including crew leadership, budgeting, technical oversight, compliance, and ensuring an exceptional onboard experience for the owner and guests
- Strong cruising knowledge of the Med is essential
- Full budget management and financial reporting
- Full crew recruitment, training, and performance management will be required
- Experience in managing contractors, shipyards, and refit periods when required
- Master 200gt ticket essential. (Master 500gt ticket preferred)
- AEC 1&2 ticket is essential - with hands on engineering experience
- A package of €8k-€8.5k is on offer with 40 days leave
