Bosun
Salary : EUR 3500 to EUR 5000 Per Month
The Bosun looks after the Deckhands and is responsible for day-to-day duties for the team; a Bosun should have a good understanding of deck operations. Furthermore, experience with navigation and standing watch and have the ability to execute planned maintenance. The Bosun should be able to give instruction and possess good leadership skills.
Qualifications, training and skills required
- Yacht master Offshore
- OOW or at least actively working way through the modules
- Prior solid experience as a Deckhand
- Good understanding deck operations
- Skills to teach a variety of water sports
- Confident tender driver in both night and day situations
- Experience with Navigation and standing watch
- Knowledge of products
- Strong maintenance skills
