Summary
Mate required onboard a 98ft New Build Sail Yacht
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Captain in the safe operation, navigation, and maintenance of the vessel, as well as assisting with deck operations, sailing maneuvers, and general exterior upkeep. This is a hands-on role suited to a motivated and experienced sailor.The vessel is scheduled for launch in May, and will be cruising the Med for the season.

Qualifications and requirements:
• Valid and up-to-date STCW, ENG1, and relevant deck certifications
• Proven experience as Mate or strong Deckhand onboard sailing yachts of a similar size
• Sailing experience is essential
• Good understanding of sailing operations, sail handling, and deck procedures
• Ability to assist with navigation, watchkeeping, and safe operation of the vessel
• Strong knowledge of deck maintenance, including cleaning products, teak care, and general upkeep
• Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and strong work ethic
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small crew environment
• Hands-on, practical, and solutions-focused approach
