Itinerary (2026 – subject to change):
The yacht is currently operating privately in the Maldives. From April, the vessel will relocate to the UAE for a 2–3 month shipyard period, followed by further private use. The yacht runs with an international crew and maintains high operational and presentation standards.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on 2nd Officer to join a 74m private motor yacht. This is an active role suited to an officer who enjoys being involved on deck as well as on the bridge. The position is approximately 70% deck / 30% bridge, working closely with the Chief Officer and Captain.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong seamanship, good leadership potential, and confidence operating tenders. While the yacht does not operate a full ISM system, a solid understanding of ISM principles and safe working practices is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Watchkeeping duties on the bridge as directed by the CO, captain
- Active involvement in deck operations, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Tender driving (mandatory)
- Assisting with deck team leadership and day-to-day organisation
- Supporting drills, safety equipment checks, and compliance
- Participation in shipyard period planning and execution
- Upholding high standards of professionalism and seamanship
Required Qualifications/skills
- OOW 3000 GT
- Valid STCW
- ENG1 or equivalent medical
- Proven tender driving skills (essential)
- Previous experience on yachts of similar size preferred
- Knowledge of ISM principles (full ISM operation not required)
- Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable attitude
Package
- EUR 5,500/month with 90 days leave, or
- EUR 6,000/month with 60 days leave
