TCN is seeking an experienced Captain to join a 35m explorer yacht currently undergoing a refit period in Pesaro, Italy, with planned completion around June 2026.
This is a permanent position on a commercially operated yacht with an established operational plan across both the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. The yacht will be based in Barcelona following refit, with an extensive cruising itinerary through France, Portugal, Spain, and Italy until December 2026, before crossing to New York, Miami, and St. Barth in January 2027.
Between May and the end of September 2026, the yacht will remain on standby for owner use.
Itinerary:
- Until June 2026: Refit period – Pesaro, Italy
- Summer / Autumn 2026: Western & Southern Mediterranean
- (France, Portugal, Spain, Italy)
- January 2027: Atlantic crossing to USA & Caribbean
- (New York, Miami, St. Barth)
Requirements
- Master 500 GT (commercially endorsed) – minimum
- Valid European passport
- B1/B2 visa (mandatory)
- STCW Basic Training
- ENG1 medical (minimum 6 months validity at start date)
- Proven experience as Captain on 30–40m yachts
- Strong refit, operational, and crew management skills
Package
- Salary: €7,500 per month
- Leave: 50 days per year
