Summary

OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY FOR A LIVE-IN ALL-ROUNDER UHNW HOUSEKEEPER IN LONDON

Where: Central London

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, negotiable DOE

Status: Live-in

A truly wonderful opportunity has become available for a top-tier, superstar Housekeeper to work for an UHNW family at their home in Central London. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and professional Housekeeper with a team player mentality, able to work as part of a larger housekeeping team to ensure the smooth running of this luxury family home. Well-presented and organised, as well as positive, personable and warm, you will have a fantastic eye for detail and take genuine pride in your work.

Reporting to the House Manager, you will be able to use your initiative and work proactively to preempt the family’s needs and exceed their expectations. Exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation are maintained in this informal family home, so the role requires a true professional with demonstrable longevity in prior UHNW homes. In addition to all the usual housekeeping duties, you will also be a confident cook with the ability to prepare family-style meals and breakfasts for the family, so it is of essence that you are comfortable in the kitchen.

Working 45 hours per week over 5 days, flexibility will be required from time to time to work different shifts or longer hours when the family are in residence, with time given back in lieu when the family are travelling. Accommodation is provided in a separate 2-bedroom apartment on the property. No pet care duties are required, but the family do have a dog and a cat, so the Housekeeper must be pet-friendly.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

•      Daily cleaning of the property including making beds, hoovering, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms etc., including turning down the bedrooms in the evening

•      Polishing antiques, marble, and silverware

•      Preparing and cooking healthy, simple meals for the family such as pastas, salads, soups etc.

•      Assisting with breakfast preparation & clean up

•      Laying and clearing the table, and providing informal table service

•      Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the house runs smoothly

•      Dealing quickly and responsibly with any issues that arise by reporting to the House Manager

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

·       Prior housekeeping experience in an UHNW private household

·       Loyalty and trustworthiness; proven longevity in prior positions

·       Fluency in English and eligibility to work in the UK

·       Exceptional attention to detail and strong initiative

·       Team player with a positive attitude and personable nature

·       Honest, loyal and thoughtful
