EXCEPTIONAL DOMESTIC COUPLE REQUIRED FOR UHNW FAMILY BASED IN CENTRAL LONDON

We are looking for an experienced and hardworking Domestic Couple to support a lovely UHNW family of four at their beautiful Central London residence. Working as an existing couple, you will work collaboratively alongside other full-time staff in this luxury home to maintain the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness year-round.
Working collaboratively with the housekeeping team, duties will include caring for antiques, marbles, and precious woods, so it is essential that you have excellent knowledge and experience of how to care for luxury furnishings and the use of appropriate cleaning products. In addition to having solid high-end housekeeping experience within UHNW private households, the Housekeeper should also be a confident cook who is able to prepare light, family-style meals in the chef’s absence, and assist with breakfast preparation.
Comfortable interacting with high-net-worth individuals and able to confidently serve at the table, the Houseman/Butler should be an all-rounder with a team player mentality, able to assist with service, housekeeping or in the kitchen, as required. Though the family are really lovely and informal, the house is run like a 5-star hotel, so it is essential that both candidates have exceptional attention to detail and team player mentalities.
Working 45 hours per week across 5 days, flexibility will be required from time to time to work different shifts or longer hours when the family are in residence, with time given back in lieu when the family are travelling. Accommodation is provided in a separate 2-bedroom apartment on the property.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
• Daily cleaning of the property including making beds, hoovering, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathrooms etc., including turning down the bedrooms in the evening
• Polishing antiques, marble, and silverware
• Preparing and cooking healthy, simple meals for the family such as pastas, salads, soups etc.
• Assisting with breakfast preparation & clean up
• Laying and clearing the table, and providing informal table service
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure the house runs smoothly, e.g. assisting the chef with prep or clean-up, jet washing patios, laying fires etc.
• Dealing quickly and responsibly with any issues that arise by reporting to the House Manager
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Previous experience in a Couples role supporting a family in an UHNW private household
• Very high attention to detail and a passion for high-end private service
• Team players with positive, can-do attitudes
• Confident cook who is happy to prepare meals in the chef’s absence
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with suppliers and tradesmen
• Good standard of written and spoken English
• Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Discreet, personable, and well-presented
• Longevity as demonstrated by previous employment
• Right to work within the UK
• Excellent checkable references
