Chase Boat Captain in France

Summary

West Nautical Crew are seeking an experienced Chase Boat Pilot for a 70m new build, launching in March/April.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to climb the career ladder & gain hands on experience with a great crew.

The chase boat is a stunning new 16m Novamarine with inboard diesel engines & a maximum speed of 70 knots.

The right candidate must have previous chase boat experience, at least 2 years in the industry & strong engineering skills.

Proven longevity is a huge bonus.

Other duties will be on deck on the 70m.

Qualifications required:

STCW, ENG1

Yacht Master

AEC1&2

PB2

PWB

2 years minimum in the industry with chase boat experience.

Package offered:

4,500 euros

SEA Contract

60 days leave (no rotation)

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RYA Yachtmaster Offshore

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate

RYA Qualifications

• RYA Powerboat Level 2
• RYA Tender Operator Course
