2nd Engineer in France

Summary

West Nautical Crew are seeking 2 rotational 2nd Engineers for a unique S/Y based in the South of France with a worldwide itinerary.

She is built with an impressible, unique design aimed at art lovers globally.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role with knowledge of how to run a full PMS onboard, like IDEA, dealing with the complex technical requirements onboard & ordering of all technical spares. French certification 3000kw, French SBT & French Medical Viste. So a French national or expat with these qualifications is essential.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a yacht with an incredible itinerary, with 2:2 rotation.

Requirements:

STCW

ENG1

French 3000kw

Knowledge of running a full PMS, like IDEA

At least 3 years experience in similar roles.

Fluent in French

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License
• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/3 Y3 Chief Engineer (<500gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<500gt 3000kW)
• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
