Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a temp ETO/ AV/IT Officer 60m+ yacht
We are seeking experienced ETO and AV/IT technicians to join a large refit project on a 60m+ vessel currently being converted from a passenger vessel into a private superyacht.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major technical transformation, working alongside a professional build and engineering team on a complex conversion.
Looking for someone willing to commit to this long term Temporary role.
Requirements
- STCW III/6 qualification preferred not essential
- Proven experience managing and maintaining AV/IT systems onboard large yachts
- Solid background in electrical and electronic systems
- Skilled in cabling, wiring, and system troubleshooting
- Ability to assist engineers and integrate with the technical team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Refit experience a must
Start date: TBC
Duration: 4-6 months
Location: France
Salary: DOE
Leave: 2.5 days pcm
This is a shore-based role for the duration of the yard period, with accommodation provided ashore.
