Summary
Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temporary 3rd Eng for an 80m+ private yacht
Requirements:
Must have at least 12 months yachting experience
Trade/skilled background preferred.
Minimum ticket required- AEC 2
Will be expected to perform routine maintenance and checks on the tenders, fancoils, sea strainers etc... unsupervised.
Will also be expected to take an engineering watch in port, at anchor and underway (after suitable handover).
Chief, 2nd & AVIT/ETO on board so there's plenty of support, however will need someone who can work on their own when necessary, after been given instruction.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 30 days possibly longer
Location: Mediterranean
Salary: DOE
Likelihood of an owners trip during the period of cover
Vessel will tend to move a lot so good for someone looking to build sea time working towards a CoC.
