Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Chief Engineer for a 40m+ private and charter motor yacht.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as Chief Engineer on a similar-sized yacht, or 4–5 years as 2nd Engineer on vessels 50m+
- Y4 minimum; higher-level certifications advantageous
- Strong technical knowledge across all yacht systems, with excellent troubleshooting skills
- Team-oriented, professional, and adaptable; able to assist in other departments when needed
Start: ASAP
Location: Malta (vessel crossing to Caribbean for the season)
Salary: EUR 7500DOE + tips
Leave: 2:2 rotation
Busy Private/Charter vessel
Currently completing 10-year survey, providing successful completion of yard period, vessel will then be crossing to Caribbean for the season.
First Trip-Christmas trip with Owners
