Job description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Head Chef for a 100m+ private motor yacht currently in Dubai and cruising worldwide. This is a rotational position (2 months on/off) offering a dynamic, high-level culinary environment with global travel.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role aboard large yachts and a strong background in Michelin-starred or top restaurants. A solid culinary foundation with wide-ranging versatility is essential—owners appreciate high-quality food, global flavors, and a balanced, health-focused menu.
Cuisine requirements include international, healthy, light fare with emphasis on buffets for lunch and refined, plated dinners. While large guest events and parties occur, they are occasional. No major allergies or strict dietary needs exist, but precision, creativity, and adaptability are vital.
The galley team consist of 3 chefs (1 Head Chef and 2 Sous Chefs), onboard at all times. Provisioning knowledge, excellent communication with interior teams, and the ability to manage galley logistics in different cruising regions is essential.
This is a private-only yacht with no charters.
Candidates must be confident managing galley operations on a large vessel, hold relevant yachting documents (STCW, ENG1), and ideally have a valid Ships Cook Certificate (SCC).

Bonuses and training opportunities are performance-based and reviewed bi-annually. When not cruising, the yacht is often based in Dubai.
