Summary

LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED FOR HNW FAMILY IN CENTRAL LONDON

Location: Central London

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, negotiable DOE

Status: Live-in

A lovely HNW family based in Central London are looking for an experienced and versatile Housekeeper to join their household on a full-time live-in basis. Working collaboratively with the wider team, you will have an exceptional eye for detail, as well as excellent knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes in order to keep this 6-bedroom family home in pristine condition.

The role will require a variety of duties and responsibilities including all general and deep cleaning tasks, wardrobe management, laundry and ironing, as well as packing and unpacking suitcases. A busy family home with three children, the family also employ a nanny and part-time cleaner, so they are looking for a child-friendly all-rounder candidate with a positive, team player mentality who is happy to muck in where required. It is important that the Housekeeper is pet friendly, as the family have a friendly dog that will require daily walking and feeding as part of the role.

The role will also require the Housekeeper to manage grocery shopping and errand running for the family, so a good communicator with a proactive and self-directed nature is required. As part of the role, the Housekeeper will prepare breakfast for the children in the morning, so the ideal candidate will have good basic cooking skills and a willingness to assist with preparing fresh, healthy meals from time to time for the family as well.

The role is to primarily work from Monday to Friday, but flexibility will be required to assist on some weekends when needed (overtime paid or time given back in lieu). Mornings and late afternoons tend to be the busiest times of the day, so it is likely that a split shift will be required on most days. Accommodation is provided in separate living quarters within the home with private access, where you will have your own bedroom and bathroom.
