The Candidate Specification
We are looking for a confident Bosun to step into a key leadership role on board. The ideal candidate must have experience as a Bosun and be actively progressing through their OOW modules. You must be highly organised, safety-conscious, and capable of upholding deck standards while boosting team morale during a busy period. A B1/B2 visa is essential, and Yachtmaster certification is strongly preferred. If not, Yacht Rating or NWRC is required. Candidates with dive tickets, PWC instructor qualifications, and a positive, hands-on leadership style will stand out.
As Bosun, you’ll be responsible for leading the deck team day-to-day, ensuring high standards across all exterior operations and maintenance. You’ll work closely with the Officers and Captain to uphold safety culture and ensure the smooth running of all activities including guest setups, watersports, and detailing. Leadership, training, and delegation will be essential, as is setting a strong example in professionalism and positivity.
- Required experience: Bosun experience on 50M+, strong leadership and mentoring skills, solid understanding of safety protocols and deck maintenance
