The Candidate Specification
We are looking for a junior-level Deckhand with approximately 12 months of experience, although we’re open to slightly greener candidates who bring the right personality and drive. A B1/B2 visa is essential, and candidates must hold PB2 and either a Yacht Rating or NWRC certificate. Those with dive tickets or extra skills will be at an advantage. This is a great opportunity for someone enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to learn within a high-performing, professional team.
As Deckhand, you’ll support the day-to-day operations on deck including maintenance, cleaning, mooring, watersports, and guest setups. You’ll be working under the guidance of the Bosun and Officers to maintain high exterior standards and safety culture. Ideal for someone early in their yachting career who’s keen to grow and contribute positively to team morale.
- Required experience: Ideally 12 months on deck, or less with the right attitude and work ethic
