The Candidate Specification
We’re seeking a confident and capable Deckhand with dive experience, ideally with around 12 months on deck. This is primarily a Deck-focused role with secondary dive responsibilities, so candidates must be comfortable with all standard deck duties while also able to confidently lead dive trips once the dedicated dive team rotates off. A B1/B2 visa is mandatory. Ideal for someone with the right blend of hands-on deck experience and professional dive instruction skills, and a proactive personality.
As Deck / Dive, you’ll perform regular deckhand duties, maintenance, washdowns, mooring, tender driving, and guest services while also being responsible for leading guest dive experiences as needed. There is significant potential for this to become a more dive-heavy position once the vessel sells, given the onboard setup. Candidates must be flexible, motivated, and ready to work closely within the deck team.
