Summary
We are seeking a professional Bosun to join a 50-meter Private M/Y operating a Mediterranean program. The vessel is owner-use focused, with approximately 4–5 months of owner trips per year and is known for maintaining a professional and positive onboard culture.
The ideal candidate will bring strong deck management skills, a hands-on approach, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The Bosun will be responsible for leading and supporting a deck team of three (1 Lead Deckhand and 2 Deckhands) while maintaining excellent communication with the bridge and interior teams. Compensation Package: €4,500 per month (negotiable DOE) / 3:1 Rotation

Deck Team Structure:
• Bosun overseeing 1 Lead Deckhand and 2 Deckhands
Owner Usage:
• Approximately 4–5 months of owner usage per year
Skills and Attributes Required:
• Minimum 1–2 years' experience as a Bosun on a 40m+ M/Y
• Strong leadership qualities with proven longevity in previous roles
• Hands-on deck leader willing to work alongside the team
• Strong product knowledge and deck maintenance experience
• Confident managing daily deck operations and crew scheduling
• Safe and highly competent tender driver
• Excellent communication skills with bridge and interior departments
• Professional presentation and strong work ethic
• Positive attitude with ability to foster strong team dynamics
• Fishing experience a plus, but not required
Tender Operations:
• Primary tender: Technohull 38 Grand Sport
• Candidate must be confident operating large performance tenders
• Yachtmaster required for tender driving
Qualifications Required:
• STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
• YMO (required)
• AEC 1 (required)
• PWC
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Valid Schengen Visa (if applicable)
