Job Opening: Bosun – 47m Private/Charter Motor Yacht

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bosun to join a 47m motor yacht operating primarily as a private vessel with occasional light charter throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual who is passionate about yachting, adventure travel, and being part of an energetic, close-knit crew.

Program: Mostly Private | Occasional Charter
Current Location: West Coast USA
Itinerary:
- Cruising the West Coast USA
- Upcoming yard period in Seattle
- Alaska summer 2026 program planned
Crew: 9 total | 3 on deck (Mate, Bosun, Deckhand)
Chase Tender: 35ft (towed)
Role Responsibilities
We are looking for a confident, hands-on Bosun with strong all-round deck experience and the ability to lead by example. Responsibilities include:
- Driving and managing a 35ft chase tender
- Docking, mooring, and towing operations
- Coordinating water sports activities (Seabobs, e-foils, jet skis, towables, etc.)
- Maintaining high standards of guest service and exterior presentation
- Supporting deep-sea fishing operations (advantageous)
- Scuba diving experience (a plus)
- Overseeing deck maintenance and daily task management

You are active, outgoing, and drama-free, with a strong work ethic and positive energy. The crew enjoys making the most of destinations — hiking, tennis/pickleball, exploring, and embracing adventure both on and off the water.

Requirements
- B1/B2 Visa – Essential
- Schengen Visa – Preferred but not immediately required
- Proven experience handling large tenders (30ft+)
- Solid knowledge of deck operations and maintenance
- Strong water sports experience preferred
