Sole Cook – Private 30m M/Y
This is a great seasonal opportunity for a capable and well-organised Sole Cook to join a 30m private motor yacht currently based in the US, operating between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. The programme is family-oriented, and the owners are looking for a confident cook who can deliver fresh, flavourful dishes with excellent presentation, specialising in high-quality meat preparation.
Female candidates are preferred due to cabin arrangements, but strong male candidates will also be considered.
Start date: ASAP – 30 September
Itinerary: US, Caribbean and Mediterranean
Package: Salary paid in Euros, seasonal contract
Experience/Skills required:
• Minimum 2 seasons’ experience in a similar Sole Cook/Chef role on 25m+ yachts
• Strong family-style cooking with excellent product knowledge and presentation
• Speciality in meat preparation and cooking techniques
• Good understanding of provisioning in both the Caribbean and Mediterranean
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual and able to manage the galley independently
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Food Hygiene Certificate (valid)
• B1/B2 Visa (essential)
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
