COUPLE POSITION – Cook/Stewardess & Mate/Deckhand – Private/Charter 30m S/Y
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and well-matched couple to join a professionally run 30m sailing yacht operating private and occasional charter in the Mediterranean. This is a hands-on role within a small crew of four, ideal for a couple who genuinely enjoy sailing, teamwork, and delivering a high standard of guest experience in a friendly and respectful onboard environment.

Package: Salary paid in Euros, good salary, medical insurance included, 38 days paid leave
Experience / Skills required
Mate / Deckhand
- Minimum 1 year experience on sailing yachts of a similar size
- Strong sailing background with good deck operations knowledge
- Confident with watchkeeping, manoeuvres, anchoring, and tender operations
- Supports the Captain with safety, maintenance, and daily deck duties
- Yachtmaster Offshore (commercially endorsed) – ideally required
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a small team
Cook / Stewardess
- Minimum 1 year experience on sailing yachts of a similar size
- Confident cooking for owners and guests (fresh, healthy, Mediterranean-style cuisine)
- Culinary degree or formal culinary training strongly preferred
- Good service standards, housekeeping, and attention to detail
- Charter experience preferred
- Organised, flexible, and guest-focused mindset
Couple requirements
- Both candidates must have sailing yacht experience
- Ideally previous experience working together onboard
- Professional, discreet, and team-oriented approach
- Currently based in Europe preferred
Qualifications required
- STCW (fully updated)
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
- Food hygiene certification (valid) – Cook/Stewardess
- Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
