We are currently seeking an experienced Private Chef for a family in Zurich to start in May. The day to day chef will be responsible for preparing a light lunch and dinner for the principals and their nanny. The family are looking for balanced and healthy Mediterranean style meals, with a particular focus on Greek, Turkish and Italian dishes. They enjoy a variety of local, high-quality meats, vegetables and fish, however, they do not eat pork. Lunch can be prepared in advance and left ready for the clients to reheat.
The chef must be confident cooking high-end meals for up to 10 people, as the family host regular dinner parties and have family to stay over the summer. The ideal candidate will also have experience laying the table beautifully for dinner parties. This is a Monday-Friday position with no travel required. You will be responsible for all menu planning and food shopping. Driving is required to get to nearby shops, accommodation is not provided.
