Winch Yacht Recruitment is currently looking for a Lead Deckhand with a minimum of 3 years yachting experience to join them in early March. The successful candidate will be a good all rounder, with larger tender driving and water sports experience being top notch. You will be confident in all areas of mooring procedures both forward and aft, and your maintenance and product knowledge should be of the highest level. The vessel currently has a very solid and experienced Bosun onboard who has no plans of leaving anytime soon. So we are looking for a candidate who understands this, and require someone who is not looking to jump onboard to compete for the role as this will not be happening. We are looking for someone who follows instructions well, but equally someone who can think on their feet and add ideas to the deck department. If you are looking for a rotational position only then please DO NOT apply, as the current offer will not be changing to suit the candidates demands. All visas requested must be in hand and not on the way, and must all be up to date with a minimum of 2 years left on each of them.
