Winch Yacht Recruitment is currently searching for an experienced Rotational Sole Chef to join a 60m private/charter sailing yacht. This is a dual-season vessel operating primarily in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and USA. The yacht is looking for a chef to join for a trial period during the upcoming crossing, with the official 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off rotation commencing in late June. Please note that the successful candidate must have year's of sailing yacht experience on vessels of 50m+, rather than on motor yachts to be considered. Longevity onboard previous vessels is also a must as they are looking for someone to stick around rather than yacht hop. You will be extremely comfortable catering to varied and complex dietary requirements, and be confident managing a busy galley independently. You must be adaptable between relaxed family-style service (owners preference) and elevated, high-end charter presentation. The owners generally prefer family-style dining, however the vessel does charter, so the successful candidate must be able to switch seamlessly to premium charter standards in both presentation and execution when required. This position will start as a trial period and move over to a 10:10 rotation in June if both parties are happy at the end of the trial. The vessel plans to cruise the Med, Caribbean, and the USA, so B1B2 visas are essential along with a Schengen. Due to the requirement of sharing a two-berth cabin with an existing female crew member, this vacancy is for a female candidate in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (Occupational Requirement).
