LIVE-IN ALL-ROUNDER HOUSEKEEPER/COOK FOR INFORMAL HNW FAMILY HOME IN LONDON

A lovely informal HNW family based in Central London are looking for an experienced, versatile and proactive Housekeeper/Cook to join their household on a full-time live-in basis. Working collaboratively with the wider team, you will have excellent knowledge of cleaning products and know how to care for fine fabrics and finishes in order to keep this busy family home running smoothly.
Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the family’s home, you will take responsibility for all housekeeping and laundry, though the family’s nannies will support with child-related laundry, and the upkeep of the children’s bedrooms. As part of the role, the Housekeeper will get the children up and ready for the day, preparing breakfast for them and then moving on to the housekeeping once the children have left for school and nursery.
As part of the role, you will also prepare family dinners, so should be a confident family cook who is able to prepare family-style, home-cooked meals. Working in collaboration with the PA, you will ensure that groceries are stocked and in date, and ensure that all cleaning supplies are topped up as well, so strong organisational skills are required.
Working from 6am-6pm, the role is from Monday to Friday, and accommodation is provided in a basement flat where you will have your own bedroom, bathroom, living area and kitchenette. The ideal candidate will be a friendly and energetic team player with a positive disposition, and professional demeanour.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
· General cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
· Wardrobe management
· Packing and unpacking for trips and holidays
· Laundry and ironing
· Family style cooking and meal preparation, preparing breakfast for the children
· Reporting to the PA and liaising with other household staff to ensure the day runs smoothly
· Ensure cleaning products and groceries are stocked
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Prior housekeeping experience in high-end private households
· Good knowledge of cleaning products and able to care for high-end furnishings and fabrics
· Child friendly and willing to assist with early morning childcare duties
· Confidence in preparing healthy, fresh family-style meals
· Proactive, confident and a good communicator
· Good spoken English
· Eligibility to work in the UK
