The Candidate Specification
We are seeking an outgoing, active, and polite deckhand for a 115m+ private yacht operating on a world cruising programme. The yacht follows a 3:1 rotation and offering extensive cruising experience and the opportunity to see some of the most incredible destinations worldwide. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of deck experience and a strong character, eager to be part of a cohesive, high-performing crew. A watersports background is beneficial, and the role is open to candidates who are enthusiastic and proactive.
The successful candidate must hold a valid B1/B2 visa and have no visible tattoos. You will be involved in a variety of deck operations including lookouts, anchoring, mooring, and learning all aspects of yacht operations, providing an exceptional opportunity to gain exposure on a large, professionally run yacht.
Crew life on board is supportive and engaging. The yacht offers a fantastic HOD team, keen to mentor and train you to be the best version of yourself. There is a generous training budget and overall onboard budgets to ensure crew are well looked after. Recreational facilities include a gym, dock workouts, crew BBQs, and other group activities, creating a family-like environment.
