Summary
We are seeking a skilled Lead Deckhand to join our team on a 120m+ motor yacht in Europe for a temporary 1-month contract, with an ASAP joining date.
Reporting directly to the Bosun, you will support the daily operations of a large Deck Department, with a strong focus on maintenance and assisting with ongoing projects. You will be required to lead and supervise a team of 6–8 deckhands, oversee tender launching and recovery operations, and carry out guest tender driving when required.
Additional skills such as carpentry, kiteboarding instruction, or HDA/HLO certification would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant yachting experience, strong leadership and deck organisation skills, solid tender driving ability, and the confidence to step into a senior deck position within a structured programme.
