Itinerary:  South Florida, Bahamas, Mexico, Cabos - Possibly ship to Mediterranean next summer.

License Required: MASTER 200gt+ 

STCW - + Refresher - Also PSSR must be revalidated/refreshed if it was issued more than 5 years.

Seafarer's Medical - no restrictions - valid 1 year minimum

Passport - valid 1 year minimum 

Advanced Firefighting

B1B2 Visa - minimum 1 year

Requirements: Solid captain and mechanical skills on 2020's Italian built yacht with MTU Engines

Good communicator in English 

Experience cruising S. Florida, Bahamas, Mexico, Cabo and ideally Mediterranean.

Proven record of captaining 30m+ for 3+ years

Good verifiable references

Able to pass a extensive background check

Able to pass random drug tests  

Good longevity

You will be responsible for managing 2 full time crew and 1 temporary (chef) and accounts

Working well with Owner's Manager

Good history of crew relations

Strong Italian build experience

Neat presentation, well spoken. Professional. 

Must either live at the crew house provided or live nearby Miami.

Job details:  Very high standards. 5 star. The client enjoys a well maintained, clean and organized yacht.

They are looking for a very professional captain. This will be your ONLY job. They do not want someone that works with other clients as well. They provide crew accommodations (crew house) with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. They also provide a crew car. You can stay at the crew house or go home at night, but must live in or within 30 minutes from S. Miami. They will run with 3 full time crew and hire a chef when the owner's fly in to use their yacht. The typical work week is M - F 9am - 5pm. When the owner's are on the hours and days would be according to their needs..

It is important that the crew enjoy cruising. They will do local cruising, Bahamas, would also enjoy cruising to Cancun and Cabo. They have discussed shipping to the Mediterranean, however there are no solid plans yet. The crew quarters include two cabins which accommodates 4 crew. 2 bunk rooms with 2 heads. They are smaller quarters. It is a beautiful sleek Italian built yacht. Less than 5 years old. 

This is a dry boat. No drinking onboard. Safety is high priority. There is an extensive background check and random drug testing.  

Salary: In USD, To be discussed during interview process. Within yachting guidelines.

Package/Seafarers agreement - To be discussed during interview process - Health insurance, 30 days paid leave, 1 year bonus based on performance.

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
