Licence Required: NONE - Someone that is culinary trained or a strong restaurant background, friendly, highly organized and relaxed personality.

Requirements:  Solid experience as a chef. Timely, well plated meals, organized, extremely clean, varied menu.  

Culinary training and/or restaurant background.

STCW + Refresher

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Passport minimum 1 year

Provisioning skills in Europe

Additional skills are a bonus: Baking and pastry

Typical duties:

I am looking for an energetic, reliable and organized chef. Someone with good plating, presentation and provisioning skills. Very clean. 

Primary Responsibilities include:

-Cooking for owners, family, guests and crew

- Detailed cleaning of the galley

-Great plating and food presentation

-Provisions 

-Ability to anticipate what is needed.

VISA: EU passport, Schengen if needed for Europe

Background check and drug testing may apply.

Responsibilities: Chef/cooking skills. Solid communication skills with owner and crew. 

Job Specifics: Private program. Family use. Very nice family. Enjoys exploring and relaxing. Experienced yacht owner.   

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience

Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process.

Commercial Registered Yacht: no private under 500gt

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Culinary Qualifications (or equivalent)

• Certificate in Professional Cookery & Culinary Arts (1 - 6 mths)
