License Required: Master 500gt +

Requirements: Charter experience, strong longevity, Solid references.

STCW + Refresher

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Passport

Strong Communications skills

Extremely organized, able to prioritize

Work as a strong support team with the Chief Officer and HODs

Safety First and regular safety training

Good with Maintenance scheduling

Solid with bookkeeping/financials 

VISA: B1/B2 visa, Schengen if needed.

Background check and drug testing may apply.

Responsibilities: Captain and strong leader to the team. Working harmoniously with the owner/management to provide a positive environment and good business relations. A friendly and calm personality. An extremely organized person. Able to prioritize and delegate. Looking for a Power team with the HODs.  Someone that has experience chartering. 

Job Specifics: This is a nice yacht that is mostly used for private/guest use. There will be occasional charters. It is a good work/life balance I am told. US/S. Florida home base with travel as well.  

Other: Flexible

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience.

Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process.

Commercial Registered Yacht: Under 500gt

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Master <500gt / Class 5
