It will run independently and as a Chase boat for 50m for charters/owner trips during winter/Bahamas - Caribbean and Med/summer.

Licence Required: YM Ocean ideally but YM Offshore may be acceptable

Requirements: Previous small boat captain, charter and Med., Bahamas, Caribbean experience ideally.

STCW + Refresher

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Passport

Multiple languages a plus (English, Spanish, French, Italian...) 

VISA: B1/B2 visa will be needed for Caribbean season, Schengen as needed.

Background check and drug testing may apply.

Responsibilities: Captain - Capable of running own boat/charter program - setting up dockage - arranging crew as needed - provisioning - maintenance - engineering - all duties that are required for a 15/17m motor yacht. Captain of 50m new build will assist as needed.

Job Specifics: Captain of a private with some summer day charters. Working directly with a charter manager to make full arrangements. Provisioning. Hiring crew as needed. This is also a chase boat to a 50m yacht. 

It will run independently as a private/ charter and also as a chase boat. 

Other:  The captain of the 50m will be the HOD. He will assist as needed but wants someone that can manage most things on their own. 

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. Please advise of your requested salary range.

Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave - 50 days, bonus program, training allowance, etc. to be finalized during interview process. Very good package plus a great bonus program. Plus tips.

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
