Bosun

Summary

• 80m Dual season Private yacht are looking for a Bosun/OOW to join the team in early April

• We are looking for a newly qualified OOW with previous large yacht background and ideally you will have worked in a leadership role as Bosun or Lead hand on large yachts prior to passing your OOW 3000.

• B1/B2 Visa essential

• Great crew, excellent HODS and lovely owners with steady usage across both seasons

• Cruising Med/Caribbean with plenty of sea time accrued

• They run extensive tender operations, watersports and with lots of guest movements. They need someone reliable, hardworking and a mentor and good role model to the junior members of the deck team. You need to be a confident guest tender driver and they run with prop and jet tenders onboard

• No visible tattoos please

• Please note this role is heavily deck based, you need to be hands on with operations and confident with leading the deck team. You will be given your own navigational watch along with bridge admin duties, but the role requires you to be present on deck

• On offer is a salary of 4500-5000 DOE Euros, 10 weeks on 10 weeks off rotation, discretionary yearly bonus, training allowance and excellent crew facilities and budgets onboard in a nice working environment

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
