Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience on a 50m+ boat and have good land-based experience - preferably from a Michelin star or fine dining restaurant, but candidates who have no boating experience will be considered as well.
Visas: Schengen zone citizen or work permit in Croatia.
Language: Fluent English is required
Job description:
- We are looking for a candidate who can cater to a wide range of different cuisines and dietary requirements as this is a busy charter vessel with different clients.
- Candidates must be exceptionally organized, well able to keep accounts for their own department, and be proficient in sourcing / provisioning.
- The Executive Chef will oversee the entire galley space, and storage onboard - dry and cold.
- Excellent hygiene is of utmost importance.
- It's a hard-working yacht that accommodates up to 26 guests and has over 10 back-to-back charters, so a great sense of humor and fantastic work ethic is a must.
Essential Qualifications:
- Discharge book
- STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
- ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
- HACCP certificate
- Ship's Cook Certificate
- Food & Hygiene Qualifications level 3
- All essential certificates and visas must be valid and in good order.
