Summary

New Build Yacht

The yacht is equipped with hybrid propulsion; therefore, a high level of technical and electrical expertise is required. Candidates must be fully familiar with all aspects of engineering service and maintenance, including HVAC systems, hydraulic systems, tenders, MTU main engines, and Volvo variable-speed diesel generators. A strong understanding of battery propulsion, power management systems, DC switchboard distribution, and AC distribution is essential.

Responsibilities will include watchkeeping, assisting the Second Engineer, and working with the Deep Blue planned maintenance system.

Excellent knowledge of AV/IT systems is required, including Crestron control systems and connectivity services such as Starlink, VSAT, and Meridian, as well as virtual machines and servers.

The engineering department consists of a Chief Engineer, Second Engineer, and Third Engineer/ETO.

This is a non-rotational, single-season position. Accommodation is a shared cabin with the Second Engineer.

CVs must demonstrate longevity in previous roles and include strong references to support the application.
