Summary
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Temporary Sous/Crew Chef, with 2 years + experience in a similar role, to join a well-established Private 75m+ MY. This yacht has an amazing itinerary planned, going to some off the beaten track destinations, so this role would best suit a passionate chef with experience provisioning in some remote locations.
Our ideal candidate has min 2 years of yachting experience. He/she will be responsible for the overall management of crew food menu planning, cooking for 24 crewmembers and acting sous chef when the owner is onboard. Crew enjoys a good mix of food, healthy, simple and nutritious food.
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient candidate with strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Our ideal candidate is adaptable and skilled in a variety of cuisines, capable of creating exciting, healthy, fresh menus for crew.
The ideal candidate is an experienced chef who is passionate about their craft, who enjoys being part of a professional yet relaxed team. We value individuals who are down-to-earth, friendly, and caring, with a great sense of humour and good banter with an easy-going personality.
The yacht fosters a strong teamwork mentality, and everyone chips in to help where they can to maintain a supportive and professional atmosphere. The captain prioritizes crew well-being and mental health.
Many of the crew has worked onboard for a long time, so crew retention is high.
This is a 3-months temporary role that could lead to a permanent (5:1 rotation) position.
This role would best suit a candidate who would like to join a dual season MY with a well-planned itinerary, with a lovely Captain and crew onboard.

Requirements for application: 2 years' experience in the industry with proven longevity and good verifiable references.
Salary: 5,500 Euros/month DOE
