Summary
We are searching for an experienced Chief steward/ess with at least 2 years + in a leading role on a 40m+ SY to join a well-established and high profile 60m+ Private/Light Charter SY.
Our ideal candidate is organized, a great communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, a calm demeanour, resourceful, capable of thinking "outside the box," switched-on and observant. A down-to-earth, level-headed candidate, full of energy and with a great sense of humour.
We are searching for a candidate who is confident in all aspects of the interior with strong knowledge of HoH and Service, great at leading from the front and motivating her team of 3, in a positive, calm and encouraging manner. Enthusiastic about her job and able to ´take things as they come" and make good decisions on her feet. Hands-on leader who is willing to assist wherever needed.
A candidate that is confident in interacting with guests of all levels, has excellent service skills and a confident refinement in the service they provide, an ability to "read the room." Detail orientated and pro-active, you will see a job through and prioritise effectively to ensure the highest standards are met.
Sailing Yacht experience is essential.
We are looking for a positive, upbeat and outgoing personality, someone that can have some banter but also knows the right ethic, courtesy and manners. Must be able to form a good relationship with other department heads and work as a team. This is a professional, down-to-earth and level-headed crew, so no egos or drama queens.
This role would best suit a candidate who would like to join a well-established program, with SOP´s set in place. The owners very much enjoy their habits and routines. We are not looking for someone coming onboard to reinvent the wheel. An adventurous candidate who would like to travel to some amazing destinations off the beaten track.
This role is mostly service, the owners are not big drinkers, and they enjoy a simple, classic and elegant white décor.
This is a dual season SY.
Many of the crew onboard has worked for the owner for a long time, so crew retention is HIGH. This is a great opportunity for someone to join an experienced, knowledgeable and caring crew.

Required Documents/Certificates: STCW, ENG1, PDSD, Food & Hygiene Level 2, B1B2 preferred other certificates are a bonus.
Requirements for application: 2 years' experience in the same position on 40m+ size yacht, Strong Service skills, Silver Service knowledge preferred, Great communicator and listener, Good verifiable references. Driving License, Confident and skilled.
Salary: 6.500 + DOE
