Location: Fort Lauderdale
Itinerary: West Palm/Bahamas - Sept to June; Sag Harbor - from June to Sept. ** Charter booked December 27th. Need the boat in Nassau around December 20th.
Licenses: Ideally 500GT, but will consider 200 GT.
Requirements: 3 years full time on a boat at least 88' or larger. Technical/engineering minded/experienced Captain.
B1/B2 visa
STCW + Refresher as needed
ENG1 or USCG medical fit for duty: (min. 1 year exp.)
Fit and healthy
Charter experience
Very stable, calm, and professional demeanor, team player.
Job Description: Captain with good record keeping, budgeting, organizational skills. Solid communication skills with owner.
- Previous Charter experience
- Experience on vessels ranging from 35 to 40 meters is highly desirable
- Previous Azimut experience is a big plus
- Team player, kind and outgoing. Friendly and professional. Mature and Calm.
Light cruising with the owner and his three daughters.
Ideally live off in West Palm Beach, open to helping with accommodation if needed. Live on in Sag Harbor.
Boat is under full warranty with good warranty support.
Boat is running with 3-4 crew.
Boat is very technical - there is an engineer that can train on this boat.
Willing to work with the owner's Broker to provide the best experience to his client.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, etc. to be finalized during interview process
