Summary
Burgess Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Crew Chef / Sous Chef for a 55m private/charter motor yacht.
Requirements:
- Strong culinary background with the ability to run the galley independently when required
- Professional, adaptable, and highly organised with excellent time management
- Positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to integrate smoothly into an established team
- Valid STCW, ENG1, Food & Hygiene, and all certificates in date
- Schengen visa required (boat papers can be provided if needed)
- B1/B2 visa preferred
- Strong references demonstrating reliability and longevity
Start: Ideally 9 December
Location: Initially Monaco, then relocating to Genoa, Italy for winter refit
Salary: EUR 5,000+ DOE
Leave: 3:1 rotation
Package: 13th-month bonus after 1 year of service, Salary review after successful 3-month probation. Charter tips: 50% during probation; equal share thereafter
Itinerary: Genoa, Italy for the winter refit. Med season
